Meet the Chiropractors

Dr. Shana L. Sullivan

A native of South Carolina, Dr. Shana Sullivan has been pleased to open Active Family Chiropractic in her home state to serve the people of Greenwood County and the surrounding areas.  Dr. Sullivan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sherman College of Chiropractic and was voted intern of the month by her professors in October of 2005.  She has extensive training in gentle chiropractic adjustments and is advanced proficiency rated and certified in Activator Methods.  Dr. Sullivan is an honor graduate of Clemson University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biological science.  She is also a member of the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity.  Dr. Sullivan currently resides in Greenwood, SC with her husband and daughter.


Dr. Sean T. Wolfington

Dr. Sean Wolfington was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he learned to love competitive sports and ultimately was a two year all state athlete.  Studying movement and working in the bodywork field was a natural transition from playing sports.  Prior to receiving his doctorate from Sherman College of Chiropractic, Dr. Wolfington earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Michigan State University.  While working on his master's degree he was hired on at Walt Disney World's Wide World of Sports and shortly after was invited to work for the National Hockey League.  Dr. Wolfington's desire to help people eventually drove him to Sherman College of Chiropractic.  After graduating in 2005, Dr. Wolfington and Dr. Sullivan moved to Greenwood, SC to open Active Family Chiropractic.  Dr. Wolfington specializes in the care and treatment of families from infants to seniors, utilizing both gentle instrument adjusting as well as manual adjustments.  He currently resides in Greenwood, SC with his wife and daughter.


Dr. Robert C. Wolfington

Dr. Rob was born and raised in Northern Michigan where he lived a very active lifestyle. He started playing competitive sports very early in his life and continued to play throughout college. Dr Rob’s passion for and dedication to the game of football earned him All-Conference and All-American honors. It was during his college football career that Dr. Rob became interested in chiropractic medicine. Chiropractic care enabled him to perform at the highest level in sports and also helped him in recovering from a couple injuries during his college career. While attending college, Dr. Rob earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science with a minor in Athletic Coaching and began working in a chiropractic office, further fueling his passion for a career in chiropractic medicine. Dr. Rob then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with Academic honors. He is now very active in the CrossFit community where he competes regularly and dedicates his free time to helping others perform their best. Dr. Rob uses manual and gentle instrument adjustment techniques as well as functional movement screening to develop rehab protocols to best serve his patients.
